The Surry bed is so versatile; this bed style fits into any décor from traditional to contemporary.  Solid hardwood slats for excellent mattress support (we don't use pine because it's too soft). Metal-on-metal corner connection frame assembly for added strength and durability.

At The BedWorks of Maine we use eastern domestic hardwoods, mostly ash, which is renewable, sustainable and bio-degradable. Our packaging is made from recycled materials wherever possible. The glue that we use is made from milk, and our finishes contain no urea formaldehydes and have all passed ASTM testing for lead.  All of our platform beds, conventional beds, dressers, chests, nightstands and mirrors, as well as our futon frames, are manufactured in our Bangor, Maine factory. Prices include shipping to your door.

This model is also available to accomodate a Mattress and Box Spring if preferred.
